This is what I saw the other day when I got out of the car...
No...we didn't kill him!
We actually watched him go all over the yard until he found a hole to go in.
He is a black snake
and he has a job at our house....
He keeps the rats and chipmunks in check!!
Anybody else got a friend who sneaks up on you?

ReplyDeleteWhile photographing a nasty looking snake I found in my yard last week, it snapped up a toad, right before my eyes. Dumb snake. I expect it to take care of my rodents too, not my toads.
